Summary 0007499: In sq 9937 Drag and drop of .jpg and .gif files can raise MNU error. (Ubuntu/Linux)
Description
for this one.

Open a fresh sq 9937.

Drag and drop a picture file in it.

Note MNU:
MessageNotUnderstood: UndefinedObject>>nextFromStream:
Steps To Reproduce
Additional Information For some reason we are getting a multibyte file stream.

The converter ivar contains the perplexed nil.

I am launching this squeak raw

'myDir/bin/squeak'
 -plugins 'myDir/lib/squeak/3.11.3-2135'
 '/home/hubuntu/Sq9885b.image'

Where myDir is a stand in for the directory path.
Sq9885b.image is the name of the link to a fresh updated image (now at 9937)

Hmmm I gave up trying to categorize this.

Is it
Kernel
Multilingual
Files
or
Collections??????

Still it needs fixing.
