Summary | 0001261: FileDirectory deletion on Linux causes update stream halt | |||||||||||
Description |
When updating Jasmine distribution downloaded from croquetproject.org on Linux, several times we are asked to delete the "data" directory. After the first time, the FileDirectory operation tries to delete a non-existent directory and fails, halting the update process. This causes the naive user to become very unhappy and confused, because it is not obvious that one can merely "proceed" from the debugger. Don't know how to fix this, but either instructions should be added to the image where it tells the user to update, or the code should recover from missing data directory far more cleanly! |
