Summary | 0001574: [enh] CTextConverter validation framework & nicely working CNumberConverter subclass | |||||||||||
Description |
I'm no GUI framework guru, so possibly this is structured badly, but on the other hand it might be a reasonable place to start. A framework for validating input. For example, especially, number inputs s.t. reasonable values are always returned when the user inputs something that isn't a number, is empty, or is out of range, etc. New classes: CInputValidator - very simple class returning True or False for a given value. CNumberValidator - subclass of CInputValidator implementing the example above. CNumberConverterOxe - subclass of CNumberConverter using the validator & with visual feedback.
