Summary | 0003774: Monticello Configurations Update From Repository Toggles Versions From Different Repositories | |||||||||||
Description |
When you add two repositories that contains the same packages and the last version is the same number but there are different authors. Updateing from repository toggles the versions. For example MyLocalRepo>FooPack-BarCat-RJT.4 RemoteRepo>FooPack-BarCat-SRI.4 if RJT.4 is loaded update from repository will put in SRI.4. if SRI.4 is loaded update from repository will put in RJT.4. it would be nice in this case if the configuration could ask which version is prefered, then hold that preference for future updates, until a .5 version is available. The stored version preference could be manually reset by either removing the package and readding it, or by hitting the refresh button which could then ask again which version is prefered. When asking for a preference on refresh the system should highlight and use the previous selection as a default. Ron Teitelbaum Ron@USMedRec.com |
