|Summary||0001012: Small texture coord correction in TSphere|
Attached is a change set which improves the texture coordinate match-up between low-poly and the more correct high-poly spheres.
This is important if you want accurate texture representation on a low-poly sphere.
For example if you want to display a globe with accurate correspondence to longitude & latitude. In that situation, even a sphere of 50 segments was off by several degrees or more. This changeset greatly improves that.
The fix is just starting the u tex-coord at du rather than at 0.
Change set and example screenshots attached.
In the screenshot, a translucent high-resolution sphere surrounds a low-resolution sphere.
