Summary 0000477: Jasmine won't run on Debian Linux
Description Although graphics are set up as required (with GeForce 4 MX direct rendering in X11 and 16 bit colour resoultion) and all updates have been installed, executing any demo (e.g. TeaTest) immediately results in an error: "Unable to find function address" in OGLUnixX11LE glEnable. I'm not a Smalltalk programmer, but the reference to "opengl32.dll" below seems suspicious considering I'm using Linux.

glEnable: cap
    "This method was automatically generated."
    "void glEnable(GLenum cap);"
<apicall: void 'glEnable' (ulong) module: 'opengl32.dll'>
    ^self externalCallFailed

I have the feeling this might be something simple, but I haven't found this description anywhere else...

That dll reference is modified at runtime to point to libGL.so.
Does the problem persist if you follow the instructions?

Yes, I checked all points on that list, without improvement...?

Sorry, checked that on the wrong Computer... actually the link from /usr/lib/libGL.so was missing, must have been a different package that was used with the nVidia installation. Probably an issue for the package maintainer (if at all). Thanks for your help!

Fine. Even though it's not our fault, we still should modify the Croquet.sh script to explicitly create a symlink to the library B3DAcceleratorPlugin is linked to, just to be sure. I'll leave the bug open for this ...
