|Summary||0000971: CTableLayout implements #fieldNamed:|
(0001294 - 864 - 963 - 963 - 963 - 963 - 963)
Bert, The real problem here is that CTableLayout has many properties that act like fields (listCentering, etc) but are not fields! Instead, it has its own 'properties' dictionary, separate from the Tweak properties. It has no fields.
Last July, Andreas and I agreed that all of CTableLayout's properties should be made into fields, and class CTableLayoutProperties should go away. This is a big change, and it would have to be done very carefully.
I put in a temporary measure. I made CTableLayout give out fake FieldReferences. This has worked very well for turning its tweaks into explanations via my normal mechanism.
For now, let's leave it like it is. When we have time, I'd be happy to convert CTableLayout to keeping everything in fields. (Any ideas about how to do this conversion simply? It might not be that hard.)
